Who are we? We are the team behind Deaf Evolution—a group dedicated to public outreach and raising awareness at events. We actively advocate for access to sign language across various venues. For example, at major events like Fantasy Basel or the Zurich Game Show, we make sure interpreters are present to enable inclusive participation.

We also collaborate with other Deaf associations in different cantons of Switzerland to co-organize events together.

Why do we do this? Because we transport essential equipment—TVs, consoles, and gaming gear—for gamers, making events more accessible while reducing overall costs. In addition, we promote public solidarity, especially when it comes to political issues.

Our goal: To make events barrier-free and accessible through interpretation services. That’s why we need to prove that we, as an organization, are relevant and valuable to both event organizers and the gaming community.
